    Hangar 16U

    An iconic brand for an iconic building

    Hangar 16U is a new, local social hub housed in an historic listed aircraft hangar. We’ve developed a brand that celebrates the heritage of the building, bringing to the fore the community aspect and representing a bright and vibrant place for future generations to discover, enjoy and make their own.

    Branding

    We’ve used a bright colour palette to reflect the vibrancy of the hangar and the muti-use space it is set to become. We also created a set of icons to represent the multiple uses of the building and illustrate key pieces of information, while removing any language barriers from communications.

    This was all brought to life with our first task, the design and delivery of a set of hoardings to protect the site during construction. The brand will be further rolled out across a website, wayfinding inside and outside the building, a marketing campaign, brochures and other supporting literature.
