Problem

Refresh the brand to update the look and feel without losing the brand equity built up over the last 10 years.

Solution

A re-imagining of the spot pattern using a paired back colour palette to create a more sophisticated look to tie in with the new offices.

Sarah Kenny is one of the leading residential letting agents in Bristol and we’ve been working with them for over 10 years. Our initial brand development was inspired by wallpaper patterns and their colourful spotty cars soon became an unmissable sight on the streets of Bristol.

Fast forward 10 years and a move back into their newly refurbished office meant it was the perfect time for a refresh and put the Sarah Kenny brand back in the spotlight.

We updated the logo by taking it out of the roundel and used a heavier typeface to give it more gravitas. The client was keen to reinforce their heritage so we decided to include the date the business was established as part of the lock-up.

The coloured circles have become so synonymous with the brand that we knew we had to retain them in some way. Our solution was to make the pattern more playful by introducing more sizes and to pair back the colour palette to tie in with the new office interior and bring a touch more sophistication to the brand.

Once the new brand was approved, we set about rolling it out across various touchpoints including new window graphics, lettings boards, stationery, digital assets and of course the unmissable fleet of cars!
