Built for pleasure and relaxation, Bath has been a wellbeing destination since Roman times. Our task was to introduce a new audience to the unique offerings of this beautiful city and increase the number of stays during mid-week.

Our campaign focused on 5 key themes based around the different ways a visit to Bath can help you relax and recharge your batteries. We used enticing imagery and paired headlines to highlight the particular attractions, such as spas and skylines, or cocktails and crescents. The unique nature of some of the destinations and treatments was further enhanced by the campaign line – It can only be Bath.

This was a multi-channel campaign targeting visitors from Bristol, Oxford, Reading, West London, Southampton, Portsmouth, Plymouth, Exeter & South Wales; overlaid with those interested in travel and wellbeing.

The campaign ran across paid social and programmatic as well as outdoor at train stations. Tracking across exposed devices matched against specified tourist attractions showed a 92% increase in footfall for those destinations, far exceeding campaign targets.

Focusing on the idea of wellbeing our multi-channel campaign highlighted the various ways you could relax and unwind in this beautiful city. With a 92% increase in footfall at specified locations, the campaign certainly hit the spot.
